Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

Introduction

These Terms of Service govern the provision of services by Liberty Test & Tag and the use of this website. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Services Provided

Liberty Test & Tag provides electrical safety testing and compliance services, including but not limited to portable appliance testing and tagging in accordance with AS/NZS 3760, RCD testing, emergency and exit lighting inspections, and related compliance activities. Services are limited to inspection, testing, and reporting unless otherwise agreed in writing. Liberty Test & Tag does not undertake electrical repairs or rectification works unless explicitly specified.

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for ensuring access to all equipment and areas required for testing at the scheduled time of service. The client must identify all equipment to be included in the scope of testing. Any equipment that fails inspection or testing must be removed from service by the client. Liberty Test & Tag is not responsible for the continued use of failed or unsafe equipment after testing has been completed.

Limitations of Testing

All testing and inspection services are non-invasive and represent the condition of equipment at the time of assessment only. Testing does not guarantee ongoing safety or future performance. Certain faults, including internal or intermittent defects, may not be detectable through standard testing procedures. Compliance at the time of testing does not eliminate risk.

Reports and Records

Liberty Test & Tag provides digital reports and asset records based on findings at the time of inspection. These reports are intended to support compliance obligations. The client is responsible for maintaining records and ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Pricing and Payment

All pricing is based on the information provided at the time of quoting and may be adjusted if site conditions, equipment quantities, or scope differ from what was originally advised. Payment terms will be specified on the invoice. Late payments may incur additional fees or interest as permitted by law.

Cancellations and Access

Clients must provide reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Liberty Test & Tag reserves the right to charge a fee where access is not provided, the site is not ready, or the scope of work cannot be completed due to circumstances outside of our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Liberty Test & Tag shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of revenue, business interruption, or loss of data. Liability for any claim arising from the provision of services is limited to the value of the services supplied, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Indemnity

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Liberty Test & Tag, its employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from the misuse of equipment, failure to act on failed test results, or failure to maintain a safe working environment following the provision of services.

Compliance Disclaimer

Liberty Test & Tag provides testing and reporting services in accordance with relevant Australian Standards. Responsibility for ensuring ongoing compliance with workplace health and safety obligations remains with the client. Liberty Test & Tag is not a regulatory authority.
