Different environments. Different requirements. One coordinated testing program.
From controlled offices and communications infrastructure to workshops and operational areas, Liberty Test & Tag delivers adaptable electrical inspection and testing around the requirements of your site.
Mining operations can contain very different electrical environments within a single site. Offices and administration areas, accommodation facilities, commercial kitchens and laundries, communications infrastructure, surface workshops and operational areas can expose electrical equipment to very different conditions. Electrical safety therefore requires more than simply identifying what an item of equipment is.
Consider the equipment itself, its construction and the electrical safeguards incorporated into it.
Consider the environment in which the equipment operates and the conditions to which it may be exposed.
Consider movement, handling, frequency and manner of use, and potential exposure to damage.
Equipment + Environment + Use
Electrical equipment does not deteriorate in isolation.
Environmental conditions such as heat, moisture, dust, UV exposure, corrosion and contaminants can contribute to deterioration or damage. The built and operational environment also matters — equipment may be exposed to vibration, impact, abrasion, repeated flexing, machinery, cleaning processes, movement and other potential sources of damage.
How equipment is used can change that exposure again. Equipment that remains stationary and protected may experience very different conditions from equipment that is regularly moved, transported, handled or used within demanding operational environments.
Mining operations may also have established electrical safety systems, site procedures and an Electrical Engineering Control Plan (EECP). Liberty Test & Tag works within the testing scope and site requirements provided for the work rather than assuming that one testing approach applies uniformly across an entire operation.
Where a testing instruction, asset classification or requirement needs clarification, we seek clarification from the appropriate nominated site personnel rather than making assumptions.

Remote mine-site electrical testing requires planning before the first item is tested. Liberty Test & Tag has practical experience mobilising to regional NSW mining operations and undertaking electrical inspection and testing across multiple site environments.
Before mobilisation, we can work with the nominated site contact to confirm:
This helps establish a clear scope before technicians arrive on site, reduce unnecessary delays and minimise repeat mobilisation. Testing can then be coordinated around the site's operational requirements while maintaining consistent asset identification and testing records.
A single mining operation can contain very different electrical environments — from workshops to accommodation to operational areas.
A tag is only one part of an effective electrical inspection and testing program.
Liberty Test & Tag provides digital testing records designed to give site personnel a clear and traceable record of the work completed.
The objective is to provide a clear record of what was inspected and tested, the results obtained and defects identified — not simply attach new tags to electrical equipment.
